Dorset Humanists promote Humanism which is a positive alternative to religious belief based on reason, evidence, science and shared values.

Dorset Humanists have 100+ members - we are the 2nd largest of 90+ Humanist group in UK. We meet in Bournemouth on Saturdays for meetings with speakers such as Dr. Jonathan Miller, philosophers Prof. AC Grayling & Dr. Julian Baggini & comedian Stewart Lee. Speakers have talked on Humanism & Secularism, philosophy & morals, human rights & environment, religion v science etc. Previous Speakers: 1997-2006 & 2007-2008.
